Counselling and Wellness
We understand that some patients may need or want additional support before, during and after their fertility treatment. To meet this need, we have arranged for our patients to have direct and quick access to our on-site counselling team who have the expertise and clinical training specific to issues surrounding fertility.
Our counsellors can help patients cope with the stress accompanied by infertility and fertility treatments and provide them with support and information to help them make informed choices that are consistent with their values and life goals. We follow national and international counselling standards that recommend counselling in third party reproduction programs as a part of best practice guidelines.
Support Groups
CReATe offers support groups for those who want to connect with others in a safe and confidential environment. The groups are facilitated by Jan Silverman, an experienced group therapist. Groups meet twice-monthly in the reception area of the CReATe Fertility Centre. There are no fees for CReATe support groups and everyone is most welcome to attend, even if you are not a CReATe patient. For more information email Jan at jan@createivf.com.
